Ah yes that age old question of does buying organic really matter. Well I think you can guess where we stand on the issue… Think of it this way: While studies may show the food you are buying has the same nutrient content (organic or not) when that non-organic food goes in to your body it has to work twice as hard to get rid of the food’s toxins before it can access those great nutrients! So why add this extra work when you are trying to be oh so healthy! HOWEVER we also understand that buying organic is expensive! And while you want to be healthy sometimes it’s just too damn much money.
So we want to make things a little easier for you. Have you heard of the dirty dozen clean fifteen? This is a great list that separates fruits and vegetables into two categories: The Dirty Dozen (highest sprayed so always buy organic) vs. The Clean 15 (those that you can get away with not buying organic).
